My Aunt - Charlotte Harden
When country music had stars such as Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton & Porter Wagoner, a new rising country star was
making this her shining era of fame as well. Her name was Charlotte Harden, later given the nickname "The Ozark Sweetheart".
During the late 50's and early 60's, Charlotte had many hits top the Country and Western Charts. Soon Charlotte was touring the MidWest, East Coast and the South performing at many famous locations with many famous people. During her career she was able to play with Loretta Lynn, Stonewall Jackson, Skeeter Davis, Earnest Tubb, Porter Wagoner, Grandpa Jones, Buck Owens, Ray Price, George Jones, Marty Robins, Cowboy Copas, Johnny Cash, and many more. Her fans adored her. She was young, ambitious, talented and ready to take the Country and Western world by storm.
